Speed Sensors

A speed sensor is a type of tachometer. It is a sender device used for reading the speed of a vehicle's wheel rotation.

Image Title Description
Standard Speed Sensors Standard Speed Sensors Standard magnetic pickups range in sensitivity for low, medium, and high speed applications.
Hazardous Area Speed Sensors Hazardous Area Speed Sensors Intrinsically-safe pickups have low- output or explosion-proof housings.
Active (Powered) Speed Sensors Active (Powered) Speed Sensors Powered pickups provide digital output at essentially zero motion. They are good for near zero or zero speed applications.
Hall Effects Speed Sensors Hall Effects Speed Sensors Hall Effect sensors provide a digital output down to zero-speed with a wide air gap of up to 0.100 inch. The sensors detect either ferrous material or a target magnet.
Power Source Speed Sensors Power Source Speed Sensors When external power is not available (e.g. for hazardous environments), these pickups can power other instrumentation and controls.
