Series 7000 Compact Pressure Switches

Barksdale Series 7000 compact pressure switches provide snap-action switching for industrial pressure control where space is limited. Choose 71 for a factory-set, permanently locked switch; 72 for field adjustment; or 73 for field adjustment with a confirmed factory preset. • Four ranges: 8–50, 40–120, 250–1000 or 600–3000 psi increasing setpoints; decreasing limits differ.
• Catalog accuracy: ±8% typical.
• SPDT, SPST normally open or SPST normally closed silver contacts, rated 5 A at 125/250 VAC.
• Buna-N or Viton seals; diaphragm sensing on ranges 2/3 and piston sensing on ranges 4/5.
• Male NPT, 7/16-20 with O-ring seal, or G1/4 process connection.
• NEMA 1 with exposed spades/free leads; NEMA 4 with the listed cable or DIN connections.
• DIN base-only and SJO cable options are available only on factory-set, permanently locked 71 models.
• Three-position Deutsch connector is SPDT only and has no UL/CSA certification.

Confirm setpoint and rising or falling operation with Mod-Tronic for models 71 and 73. Choose the range using adjustable setpoint, maximum operating pressure and proof pressure as separate limits. Diaphragm models operate from 0 to 180°F; piston models from -40 to 180°F. Contact Mod-Tronic for legacy brass versions or other constructions.
