B1X / B2X Explosion Proof Bourdon Tube Pressure Switches

Barksdale B1X and B2X pressure switches combine a 316 stainless steel Bourdon tube with an explosion proof die-cast aluminum enclosure. B1X provides a single SPDT circuit; B2X provides two independently adjustable SPDT circuits for industrial pressure control.

• Five pressure ranges through 7200 psi increasing setpoints.
• Proof pressure: 1800 to 18000 psi, depending on range.
• Accuracy: ±1% of adjustable range at 32–110°F; consult catalog for performance outside this band.
• Operating temperature: -40 to 165°F (-40 to 74°C).
• NEMA 4, 7 and 9 enclosure; ATEX construction catalogued as IP66.
• Internal terminal strip; 1/2-inch NPT conduit connection on B1X and 3/4-inch NPT on B2X.
• Current order key: standard 1/4-inch NPT female process connection on ranges 12/20/32; superpressure fitting for 1/4-inch OD tube on ranges 48/72.
• A range of AC/DC limit switches, gold contacts, and S switch adjustable deadband.
• Select -UL for UL/CSA hazardous-location approval or -EX for ATEX construction; these suffixes are mutually exclusive.

The configurators follow the March 2026 ordering table. Confirm the process fitting against the factory drawing, particularly range 48 where the general specification and ordering table differ.
