CSM Compact Pressure Switches
Compact pressure switches with zinc-plated steel fittings, SPST or SPDT contacts, five ranges from 30–120 to 2000–5000 psi and 9000 psi proof pressure.
Barksdale CSM compact pressure switches cover higher pressures in the CS series, with five ranges from 30–120 to 2000–5000 psi. Choose CSM1 for field adjustment or CSM2 for a confirmed factory setpoint, with SPST normally open, SPST normally closed or SPDT contacts.
- Accuracy: ±3% of full setpoint range; maximum proof pressure 9000 psi.
- Zinc-plated steel fitting with Buna-N, Viton or EPDM diaphragm.
- AC and DC switch ratings, with a low-current gold-contact option.
- Five process-connection choices; free-lead, DIN, spade, Deutsch or Weather Pack electrical connections.
- Operating temperature: -20 to 176°F (-29 to 80°C); UL maximum ambient 131°F (55°C).
- DIN IP65; exposed terminals IP00. Optional IP67 construction is available only with free leads.
- UL recognized component coverage depends on configuration; gold contacts and Weather Pack options are not UL rated.
Select contact form before the electrical connector: two-pin connectors are SPST only; DIN and three-pin connectors are SPDT only. Confirm the factory setpoint and rising or falling operation with Mod-Tronic for CSM2. A blank preset code is suitable only for field-adjustable CSM1. Depending on the rate of pressure change, an intermittent condition may occur across the setpoint.
