CT-LS large split-core AC current transformers provide a 1 A or 5 A secondary output for power transducers and metering equipment. The 3.44 × 2.32 in (87.4 × 58.9 mm) sensing window fits large conductors and bus bars without disconnecting the primary conductor. Primary ratings are 800, 1000, 1200 and 1400 A; the 1400 A model is available with a 1 A secondary only.

Available ratios are 800:1, 1000:1, 1200:1, 1400:1, 800:5, 1000:5 and 1200:5. Example order number: CT-0800-5-LS. The former 1600 A option is not listed in the current catalogue.

Allowable burden is 16 VA for 1 A secondary models and 10 VA for 5 A secondary models. Never energize the transformer with its secondary open. Use a suitable shorting terminal block before disconnecting the instrument. Install with H1 facing the source and observe secondary polarity.
